Personal Statement
I started playing football at an extremely young age. Since then, it has always been my passion. Every time I hit the field, I give it a 110%. I am extremely hard working and a very coachable player. I started all ten varsity games as a freshman in the backfield as a running back/ fullback. The following year I moved to the defensive side of the ball, in order to fufill my team’s needs, and I once again started all ten varsity games(linebacker/ strong safety). Since my freshman year I’ve gotten stronger, faster, and bigger. My freshman year I began the season at 5’7,185 lbs. , ran a 4.8 forty yard dash and maxed at 215 lbs. bench, 385 lbs. squat. Now, as I enter my junior season, I am 5’9, 205 lbs., run a 4.6 forty yard dash and max out at 295 lbs. bench, 505 lbs. squat. I anticipate continued improvement, mentally and physically, throughout my highschool career. I look forward to playing on the next level at a major D-1 program, while earning my degree. After college, I hope to earn a living in the medical and/or business field. I am currently enrolled in the math and science small learning community at my highschool. I do not particularly like being categorized into a specific position, simply stated I consider myself to be a football player.
